Jags GM: Eagles Offer to Murray Exceeded Jags by “Large Amount”
According to a tweet by Jaguars beat reporter Ryan O'Halloran of Jacksonville.com, Jaguars general manager David Caldwell said the Eagles offer to DeMarco Murray exceeded his team’s offer by a “large amount."
According to the blog by O'Halloran at the website, Cladwell was asked if the Eagles offer was $1-$2 million more per year than the Jaguars offer, to which he replied, “More than that – and I’ll leave it at that,”
Murray is getting $8.5 million per season in Philly, which includes $21 million guaranteed.
