Jahlil Okafor Grades Well in Rising Stars Game

Jahlil Okafor’s made his debut during All-Star weekend and made quite a impression in limited time during the Rising Stars Challenge.

Okafor scored 13 points in just 18 minutes for Team USA on 6-of-7 shooting, and played a big part in USA’s 157-154 win over Team World.

ESPN’s Kevin Pelton graded Okafor a A-, noting the rookie’s versatility.

Analysis: With few opportunities to showcase his post game, Okafor instead demonstrated his versatility by knocking down a 3 and handing out three assists in only 18 minutes.

The Sixers (8-45) will hope Okafor’s All-Star weekend performance will continue to provide a bright spot in the second half of, and maybe showcase some of the versatility he displayed on All-Star Saturday night.

Philadelphia returns to action on Friday, Feb. 19 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
