Former Eagles’ Center Jason Kelce Lands New Gig with ESPN

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has found his next gig.

According to Andrew Marchand from The Athletic, Kelce has signed a deal with ESPN to become the newest addition to the Monday Night Football pregame broadcast crew for the 2024 season. 

Kelce, who just retired after what is considered a Hall of Fame career with the Philadelphia Eagles, was sought after by multiple networks, but is slated to land on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown.”

Kelce, who is the co-host of the 'New Heights' podcast with his brother Travis, was reported to be courted by many of the NFL broadcast partners including NBC, CBS, Amazon, and others.

Scott Van Pelt is the current host of "Monday Night Countdown" and he is joined by analysts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark.

Kelce announced his retirement on March 4, 2024 and is a six-time first team All-Pro and has the record for most consecutive starts in franchise history.

The team will likely replace him with former second-round pick, Cam Jurgens, who played right guard in 2023.
