Here is today’s show: Thursday August 16th 2012.
Welcome Back Todd
Todd Ranck made his much awaited return to The Sportsbash airwaves this afternoon from his vacation in Los Angeles. While he was away, the Sixers traded for an introduced Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, Chad Johnson was arrested for domestic violence, cut by the Dolphins and is now going through a divorce, and Usain Bolt shattered more world records and won more gold medals. He didn’t miss much right?
Our Injury Expert Joe DeRosa, Eastern Shore Physical Therapy called in and gave us an update on some injuries around the Philadelphia sports teams including the treatment Andrew Bynum is going to receive in Germany:

Rollins not hustling
We got into the topic of Jimmy Rollins and his failure to run a ground ball out yesterday afternoon against the Marlins. Rollins has been heavily criticized on television, radio and Twitter. Rollins actually responded to a tweet that caused a stir and later removed the exchange with a user about him being a role model for kids watching him. It turned out that Rollins wasnt pulled from yesterday’s game, nor was he benched for today’s game. Mike Gill says he should absolutely be benched:
What are Sixers lacking
In the 5:00 hour Mike Gill posed a question asking what the Sixers are now lacking on their newly shaped roster. They added shooter like Nick Young and Dorrell Wright and added a big man in the middle in Andrew Bynum. With the trade of Andre Iguodala, they now lack a big-time, shut down defender and perhaps a back-up point guard. Plus, is Andrew Bynum now the biggest star in Philadelphia?

Jeff McLane, Philadelphia Inquirer called in and talked about some of the injuries at today’s practice. The team is back in Philadelphia at the Novacare Complex and Antonio Dixon, Joselio Hanson both went down with some injuries. McLane thinks Dixon is a certain to make the tea, the Eagles need a run stuffer DT with Mike Patterson injured. As for Mr. Lehigh 2012? McLane thinks a certain talented undrafted rookie from Tulsa will make the team. Follow Jeff McLane on Twitter.
