Very few teams can afford Free agent LeBron James asking price.

James is reportedly seeking a max contract in excess of $20 million per season.  James will be able to sign a five-year deal with Miami, and a four-year deal if he chooses to go somewhere else.

One team that has the money to meet is asking price?

The Sixers.

Philadelphia is one of seven teams that have the cap space to offer James a deal starting at $20.7 million next season: the Heat, Mavericks, Lakers, Suns, Jazz and Magic are the others.

So I guess it doesn't hurt for Sixers rookie Joel Embiid to ask King James...politely.

So you're saying there's a chance...

Doubtful.
