Two weeks ago the Hammonton football team got a chance to see this week's opponent - they weren't scouting them, they were playing them on the field.

The two teams met in Hammonton just two weeks ago with the Blue Devils pulling out a 24-17 overtime win - Friday night, it's the rematch and you can listen to it live on 97.3 ESPN as the NJSIAA Group IV playoffs continue with the semi-final round.

In that first game, Hammonton jumped out to a 17-0 lead, but Timber Creek same roaring back to tie the game at 17-17 and force overtime. Malachi Winters scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime on a 1-yard run for the Blue Devils.

Last week Hammonton (9-1) dominated Toms River South, 30-7 while Timber Creek (6-3) struggled to get by Mainland, 10-7.
