Longtime Middle Twp boys basketball coach Tom Feraco has stepped down as basketball coach after 35 years on the sideline. The coaches 719 wins places him third on the all-time wins list in South Jersey behind St. Augustine coach Paul Rodio (861) and former Camden coach Clarence Turner (775).

Back in the 2013-2014 season, Feraco stepped away in early January to undergo treatment for prostate cancer, almost one month later that year he was cancer free. He made his return at the Shoot Down Cancer Classic on Feb. 8 2014 in a game against Cherry Hill West.

Throughout his tenure with the Panthers, Feraco's teams have been tough, sometimes undermanned, but never out-coached, leading the Panthers to three state titles and nine South Jersey championships.
