Mainland Regional senior Anna Gordon received 53 percent of the total vote to earn 97.3 ESPN-FM South Jersey High School Athlete of the Week honors. The lacrosse standout notched her 100th career goal on Monday, April 8 during a 21-2 victory over Winslow Township.

Gordon, a team captain who also plays soccer and basketball, scored six goals and added five assists in the win, surpassing the milestone early in her final season with squad. She is committed to compete at La Salle University next season.

Fellow lacrosse standout Corrine Etter finished second in the poll with 45 percent of the total vote. The Millville star continues to emerge as one of South Jersey's premier playmakers.

Gary Melton (Cedar Creek), Taylor Kniethardt (ACIT) and Maddie Peterson (Wildwood Crest) were also nominated. Congratulations to all nominees for outstanding individual performances!
