There was no fan vote for 2020's Phillies Wall of Fame.  Unlike previous seasons where fans had the opportunity to cast a vote, the Phillies decided to name this year's Wall of Fame honoree.  It will be former Phillies second baseman Manny Trillo.

By skipping the vote, the Phillies can tie the celebration to another one.

2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the 1980 Phillies World Champion team.  The Phillies will use Alumni Weekend to honor the club.  On Thursday, August 6 the Phillies will give away a replica World Championship ring, while Sunday, August 9 fans will receive a Tug McGraw bobble figurine depicting his famous jump into the air after the Phillies clinched the World Series.

Trillo was on previous Wall of Fame ballots including last year's.  While voting has been a regular occurrence, the Phillies have regularly reserved the right to appoint a Wall of Fame honoree.
