March: It’s time to “Savor the Flavor” with National Nutrition Month!

-Cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and nutmeg are a great addition to oatmeal.
-You can’t go wrong with fresh herbs, such as parsley, cilantro, or mint!
-Use garlic, ginger, and olive oil to enhance whole grains, such as brown rice or couscous.
-Stock your kitchen with fresh citrus, such as lemons and limes for splash of added flavor!
-Look for low-sodium or no-salt added varieties in the spice aisle!
-Roast vegetables in the oven to bring out their natural flavors.
