Mark Schlereth on Chip Kelly: ‘I’m Not Ready to Pick Out Curtains and Move to Philly’

Chip Kelly doesn't like to run in between the tackles, that's evident.

It's because of this that Schlereth doesnt want to commit to a long-term relationship with the rookie head coach.

Schlereth called in and talked with Mike and Todd about Chip Kelly with the Eagles and how he thinks his offense will translate to the NFL.

"This is not Oregon anymore. It's 53-man rosters and I have my reservations," the NFL Live host said.

Schlereth doesn't understand the option philosophy Chip Kelly implores, either.

"Part of what i dont believe in is born out of ignorance. I dont understand optioning a 3 technique."

Former Eagles QB Donovan McNabb announced his retirement this week and both Mike and Todd believe that McNabb will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame at some point, Schlereth disagrees.

"I would say no, but I saw a very good QB for a very long time. If he had a Super Bowl ring on then maybe youre talking in that fashion," Schlereth said.
