Michael Raffl has Extended his Stay with the Flyers

Forget the speculation that Michael Raffl could be on the move.

The Austrian forward has signed a three-year contract extension with the Flyers worth $7.05 million. Pierre LeBrun of TSN was first to report the figures.

Raffl, 27, has eight goals and nine assists in 61 games for the Flyers this season. He has played all three forward positions for the Flyers and has moved up and down the lineup. His versatility is something that new coach Dave Hakstol likes and he works well along the boards in puck battles.
