Michael Vick and Nick Foles split first-team reps on the first day of Eagles' voluntary workouts Tuesday.

"There wasn't one set guy that just went with the ones the entire day," Kelly said.

Coach Kelly also recently reiterated that he believes Vick has the right skill set for his offense.

"When you sit down and analyze what his skill set is and what he can still do, he can still throw the football, still accurate with his throws, he’s extremely tough," Kelly said. "There was no question in my mind that I wanted Michael to be back."

Sounds like an uphill battle for second year man Nick Foles, though Kelly has also spoken glowingly of Foles in recent weeks, so it could just be a way of making Vick feel at ease for coming back and having to check his ego at the door, to compete for a starting job.

As for Foles, he continues to insist that he's a fit for Chip Kelly's offense.

"I wouldn't be right here, right now, if I didn't fit. ... I feel like I can go in and run anything," Foles said.

For what its worth, Dennis Dixon also got some time with the first-team during today's mini-camp.
