The story continues to grow.

Millville High School graduate and current member of the Los Angles Angels Mike Trout has another accolade under his belt - he is on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated.

Thus far in his rookie season in 100 games, Trout has a .344 average with 24 home runs, 70 RBI, 97 runs scored and 39 stolen bases.

The AL all-star is being compared to Mickey Mantle - who in his rookie season posted these numbers: .311, 23 home runs, 87 RBI, 94 runs scored in 142 games.

While I am not suggesting Trout is better then Mantle yet - his rookie season numbers dwarf "The Mick".  It's this kind of story, this type of player that makes you proud of where you live, proud of where you're from.
