This is expected to be Darren Sproles final NFL season, but he might be having a change of heart.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Sproles has told teammates he is considering returning for another season. Sproles, who will turn 36 in June, was expected to retire following the season.

The Eagles are 4-1 with him in the lineup the last five weeks, but he missed 10 games this season with a hamstring injury and 13 last season with an ACL injury.

When healthy, he has been a major weapon, with three total touchdowns and 280 total yards on 44 touches.

Sproles is currently scheduled to be a free agent.
