Eagles inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks exited Monday night's Week two game against the Colts with a calf injury and did not return.  Kendricks was hurt late in the third quarter and limped to the locker room.

Today, Kendricks underwent an MRI on his calf.

"He had a calf [injury]," Eagles head coach Chip Kelly explained.  "They sent him to get an MRI.  We do that with everybody that has a muscle thing, so we'll just see where he is.  But I don't have anything else besides that."

Backup Casey Matthews was benched after two series and replaced with Emmanuel Acho. Losing Kendricks for any extended period of time would be a huge blow to the Eagles defense, he's is an every-down player and one of the stars of the defense.

In two games so far, Kendricks has 13 tackles and a sack and has been one of the better linebackers in pass coverage.
