While the Sixers might have a lot of excitement surrounding them this season; Las Vegas isn’t all that excited about their win total this season.

Oddsmakers released the preseason over/under for every NBA team on Tuesday, and they set the Sixers win total at 27.5 victories, a significant improvement from their 10-win season in 2015-16.

That is the fourth-lowest over/under in the league, just ahead of the Phoenix Suns (26.5), Los Angeles Lakers (24.5) and Brooklyn Nets (20.5).

Of course, if the Sixers won 27 games this season, that would be a 17-game improvement form last year, making it a major step forward for the organization which has won just 47 games the past three seasons.

The health of Joel Embiid, along with the additions of Ben Simmons, Dario Saric should help to the win total. So, too, could the additions of veterans Sergio Rodriguez, Jerryd Bayless and Gerald Henderson, and the stability of fourth-year head coach Brett Brown.

Golden State leads the NBA with an over/under set at 66.5 wins following its historic 73-9 campaign that followed up a 67-win year in 2014-15.
