Hammonton, Holy Spirit & Millville all advance to State Finals

The will be four Cape Atlantic League teams playing for state sectional titles.

While St. Joe's got a free pass to their non-public I State title game, Hammonton, Holy Spirit and Millville all played their way in on Friday night.

Second seeded Hammonton scored a exciting 33-21 victory in a South Jersey Group III game defeating third seeded Moorestown.  With the win, the Blue Devils will play in the finals on December 3rd at Rowan University against top seed Timber Creek, who defeated No. 4 Woodrow Wilson 14-6 in the other Group III semi-final.

In Group IV, Millville won a thriller over No. 6 Washington Township. The Thunderbolts will play in the finals at Rowan University on December 2nd against the winner of No. 1 Pennsauken and No. 5 Triton Regional on Saturday.

Over in non-public II, Second seeded Holy Spirit took care of business, defeating third seeded Montclair Kimberley 62-13 and will now play top seeded Camden Catholic at The College of New Jersey on the weekend of December  2nd. Camden Catholic easily defeated No. 4 Holy Cross 41-7 on Friday.
