Eagles first round pick Marcus Smith called in to talk with Mike Gill about getting that call from the Eagles when the 26th selection came up last week. Smith said he was surprised, but happy to be picked by the Eagles. Smith is in Philadelphia for the rookie mini camps this month and is just trying to absorb everything.
