Mike Gill Rips Amaro

Mike Gill has never been one to shy away from ripping Phillies GM Ruben Amaro. In this segment, Gill does exactly that. He solicits text messages from our text board for listeners to send in 'adjectives' to describe the *inept* job Amaro has done with this team. Of course, the Cliff Lee trade is mentioned, as well as trades involving Hunter Pence and Shane Victorino.

Jeff McLane

Talks with Mike & Todd about the Eagles little rookie camp they have going on today and through the weekend. McLane got a chance to talk with all of the draft picks including Marcus Smith, Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff. McLane did talk about the wide receiver position here and said that most likely you'll see 6 players in that position. Maclin, Cooper, Matthews, Huff are all sure things, with 2 other sports remaining.

Kevin Cooney

Covering the Phillies called in to preview the weekend series vs. the Reds. Both teams are below .500 thus far, the Reds are probably the one that is underachieving as opposed to the Phillies. But Cooney said that it's the Phillies that have a long haul coming of getting this team back to prominence. Because of the contracts and the flawed minor league system, the Phillies moves are limited. If the Phillies continue to remain at .500, this is the time to trade Cliff Lee to a contender.
