ON DEMAND: What the Joel Embiid News Means for the Process, Plus Would Dez Really Miss Regular Season Games?

Our Sixers insider Derek Bodner called in to recap the bad, but expected news from over the weekend: Joel Embiid will undergo a second surgery to his foot. The Sixers have stated that Embiid is likely to miss the entire 2015-2016 season. Bodner still says that he would have taken Embiid third overall in last year's draft because any player that went after Embiid is someone you can wind up with every year. Bodner also talks a little bit about the summer league action and where some players stand heading into training camp in a couple months.

John McMullen of The Sports Network talked some NFL news & notes. We found out today that Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is not afraid to hold out of the regular season if he and the Cowboys cannot agree to along term deal. A deadline has been set for Wednesday for any player to sign a franchise tag, all signs point to that not happening. McMullen also gives us a date on when to expect a ruling on #deflategate.
