Add the Indiana Pacers to the list of teams with a reported interest in Sixers center Jahlil, per Romona Shelbourne of ESPN.

In a post primarily about the Pacers’ interest in adding a player to help Paul George, who can be a free agent after next season, Shelbourne mentioned that the one name that multiple ESPN reporters, including Chris Haynes and Jeff Goodman keep hearing his Okafor.

The seems the market dried up for Okafor after a series of deals involving teams that were linked to the Sixers center. Recent reports had the Nuggets, Pelicans, Trail Blazers and Bulls interested in Okafor. The Blazers dropped because they went with Denver's offer for Jusuf Nurkic and a first-round pick for Mason Plumlee.

The Sixers’ price for Okafor has been a first-round selection, but that price might have to drop ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The 21-year-old forward is averaging 11.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 23 minutes per game.

Whether the Pacers would be willing to part with a first-round pick for a player like Okafor hasn't been reported at this time, but there have been reports, including one from Chris Haynes of ESPN, suggesting the Pacers willingness to part with the 2017 pick to get help for George.

Either way, the second-year center from Duke will be a name to watch as the Thursday deadline approaches.
