Although Pete Rose may not be in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, he is getting into the Phillies Wall of Fame.  Major League Baseball's All-Time Hits King on Saturday, August 12 will become the 39th inductee into the Phillies Wall of Fame during an on-field ceremony before that night’s 7:05 p.m. game against the New York Mets


In his five seasons with the Phillies, Rose was a four-time All-Star selection and a member of the 1980 World Series Championship team.  Also in 1980 he led the National League Doubles, led the NL in Hits in 1981, and Games Played in 1982.
