Pete Rose To Be Inducted Into Phillies Wall Of Fame

Although Pete Rose may not be in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, he is getting into the Phillies Wall of Fame.  Major League Baseball's All-Time Hits King on Saturday, August 12 will become the 39^th inductee into the Phillies Wall of Fame during an on-field ceremony before that night’s 7:05 p.m. game against the New York Mets

In his five seasons with the Phillies, Rose was a four-time All-Star selection and a member of the 1980 World Series Championship team.  Also in 1980 he led the National League Doubles, led the NL in Hits in 1981, and Games Played in 1982.
