The Phillies offense got a boost on Saturday.  The team announced that outfielder Rhys Hoskins has been reinstated from the disabled list.  Simultaneously, outfielder Dylan Cozens was placed on the 10-day disabled list.

Hoskins fouled a pitch off of his face two Mondays ago in Los Angeles.   After doubling on Tuesday, a CT scan revealed that Hoskins had a fracture on his jaw.  Hoskins was then placed on the disabled list and the Phillies recalled Cozens.

Cozens left Friday night's game early with an injury that was revealed to be a right quad strain.   Cozens might have otherwise been optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, but instead will spend at least the next 10 days on the major league disabled list.  Cozens had two hits in nine at bats, including one home run.

Hoskins will be wearing a special batting helmet upon his return.  The Phillies had a little fun with it:
