After Vince Velasquez left last night's game with a right elbow strain, the Phillies find themselves looking for not one, but two starters to pitch for the Phillies this upcoming weekend.   But with the bullpen getting just four outs last night before Velasquez exited the game, the Phillies added pitcher Ricardo Pinto.

Pinto may fill the role that Ben Lively filled a couple times this season: insurance in case the Phillies have any to use a good amount of their bullpen.   For Pinto, the best scenario may be that he sits in the Phillies bullpen today in Miami and then rejoins the IronPigs to start for them this weekend.   The IronPigs figure to lose two starters this week, most likely Ben Lively and Nick Pivetta who will likely fill rotation spots vacated by Velasquez and the recently-demoted Zach Eflin.

The Phillies take on the Marlins at 1:05 p.m. at Marlins Stadium in Miami.
