Phillies Have “Clout”; Rhys Hoskins Retweets Bryce Harper

With pitchers and catchers said to report in nine days to Clearwater, Florida, there are about 100 free agents remaining on the board.  The most notable remaining are Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.   The latest word is that the Phillies still appear to be poised to land one or the other, while friend of Harper Rhys Hoskins is busy with his social media.

Yesterday evening, Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports tweeted that the Phillies have the "financial clout" to land either player:

The MLB The Show trailer is set to release tomorrow.  Harper is on the cover and part of the offseason promotion of the game was the question of what uniform Harper will wear on it.  Maybe tomorrow will be the day we know.
