Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com hears that the Phillies have interest in a reunion with Ryan Madson.  The 33-year-old is expected to soon audition for teams and will likely have to accept a minor league deal.

Madson hasn't pitched in the majors since 2011, as he had Tommy John surgery in 2012 and sat out all of 2013 after suffering numerous setbacks.

From 2007-11, Madson posted a 2.89 ERA with 8.6 K/9 and 2.6 BB/9 in 329 2/3 innings out of the Phils' bullpen, racking up 49 saves along the way, including 32 in 2011 -- his lone season as the team's primary closer.

Madson was originally drafted by the Phillies in 1998 and posted a 3.59 ERA over nine seasons with the club.
