The visiting clubhouse at Turner Field will be more cramped on Tuesday, but happily so as the Phillies made seven September call-ups.

Manager Ryne Sandberg has more names to juggle into lineups and game situations, it should be interesting to see how he uses Maikel Franco, who is a third baseman by trade.
The additions are:

Pitcher Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez, Infielder Cesar Hernandez, catcher Cameron Rupp, righthander Luis Garcia and outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr. earned promotions.

Returned from disabled list: Mike Adams

To make room on the 40-man roster, Cliff Lee was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.

Other than Franco, the name that sticks out is Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez.

Gonzalez had some arm issues earlier this year, but he has thrived since moving to the bullpen in the minors, putting up a 2.19 ERA and 51/17 K/BB ratio over 37 relief innings between Double- and Triple-A.
