Before the start of the season,  Phillies President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski, has made a few moves, trading outfielder Jake Cave to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for cash considerations.

Cave has had a solid Spring, slashing .324/.342/.405 with a .747 OPS in 38 at-bats.

With Cave out, Kody Clemens could make the final roster as a left-handed bat off, who can play multiple positions.

He also signed left-handed pitcher Matt Strahm to a contract extension through the 2025 season with a club/vesting option for 2026.

Strahm, 32, worked as both a starter and a reliever going 9-5 with two saves and a 3.29 ERA (32 ER, 87.2 IP) over a career-high 56 appearances (10 starts).
