The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Thursday June 21st, 2012.

Optimistic about Phillies

Mike Gill poses a question in this first segment: Are you optimistic about this Phillies team?  Todd Ranck says yes.  He echos sediments from many baseball insiders in that if they hang around the Wildcard position(s) until August, Ryan Howard and Roy Halladay will be back to full strength, and we’ll see what happens.  After their first two game winning streak in a month, the Phillies look to sweep the Colorado Rockies tonight at 7:05.

Dana White

UFC President, Dana White, called in and promoted the UFC event at The Revel Resorts in Atlantic City tomorrow night between Clay Guida vs. Gray Maynard.  White said the UFC actually got its start in Atlantic City some 10 years ago.  On Brock Lesnar: “We met with him a few weeks ago and the meeting couldn’t have gone any worse.  It was a complete waste of my time.” On Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao: “That fight would have happened 3 years ago in UFC.”

LeBron vs. Durant

Did some LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant talk here and actually Mike Gill continued his criticism of Thunder F Kevin Durant.  He said if we are to criticize James for not showing up in the 4th quarter, we are to do the same with Kevin Durant.  Todd Ranck still disagrees.  Take a listen below.  Game 5 of NBA Finals is tonight in Miami.

Eagles and O.J. Atogwe

Mike Gill and our Eagles insider Ryan Messick talked a little bit about the team signing veteran safety OJ Atogwe.  Mike seems to think that Kurt Coleman or Nate Allen cant be thinking they’ll start all 16 games and Atogwe was a great signing to bring in as insurance.  Also, Mike and Ryan talked about the Mike Vick interview yesterday and did Mike Vick take an unintentional shot at DeSean Jackson?
