Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Friday July 13th, 2012.

Sixers sign Kwame Brown

Mike Gill jokingly opened up a Friday show with a joke he remembers Charles Barkley telling: "I asked for Shaq and the Sixers drafted me Charles Shackleford."  Mike Gill asked for "Dwight Howard and they gave me Kwame Brown."  Both players were former No. 1 overall draft picks if that helps.  Mike and Todd don't like the move one bit and are wondering what the team is thinking.  Sixers coach Doug Collins coached Kwame Brown in Washington for a few seasons.

2012 Dream Team vs. Originals?

With the releasing of The Freeh Report yesterday, the Michael Jordan vs. Kobe Bryant words were thrown aside yesterday.  Mike and Todd finally got a chance to talk about it and both agree that The Original Dream would "whoop" on this year's team.  Scottie Pippen said they'd win by "20-25 points," while Michael Jordan said "it wasnt one of the smarter things Bryant could have said."  The USA Men's Basketball Team is on their way to Washington D.C. before heading to London for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Legendary Bobby Bowden

Mike and Todd had the chance to interview one of the legends of college football in Bobby Bowden.  Like Joe Paterno, Bowden won two National Championships in his career and had some strong comments on the PSU Scandal.  Bowden said: "When it came out, I was secretly hoping Joe didn't know anything that was going on. Freeh Report showed he did know, did nothing."  Bowden also thinks the Joe Paterno Statue should be removed.  Listen to the legendary Bobby Bowden:

KC Joyner

Caught up with our good friend KC Joyner, ESPN.com who has the Philadelphia Eagles winning the NFC East this season. Joyner said that the Eagles running game will be in the Top 10 come the end of the year and the Eagles pass rush will be even better with Fletcher Cox and perhaps they could reach 60 sacks.  On Mike Vick: if he stays healthy, they'll have on of the best vertical passing games in the NFL.  Follow The Football Scientist on Twitter.

Phillies bringing back Cole?

The discussion continues with the possibility of the Phillies offering Cole Hamels a "substantial contract" as reported by Jayson Stark. Mike played a clip from a show this week where Jim Salisbury, CSNPhilly, was on where he said: "Cole has looked me in the eyes and said he is glad that the Padres didnt draft him because there's no better place to play baseball than on the east coast."  What should the Phillies do?  Can they trade Hamels now and then re-sign him during the off season?  The MLB Trading Deadline is Tuesday, July 31st at 4 p.m. est.

Football Fix
