The Friday edition of the Sportsbash opens up with Mike and Todd talking NBA playoffs and debating who is the overall better team the Celtics or the Sixers. The guys also discuss who needs to come up big for the Sixers and what they need to do as a team in order for them to move on to face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Sixers vs Celtics, whose defense will carry them to victory in Game 7?

Mike and Todd get into a spirited debate about which Boston Celtics team will show up this Saturday night. Mike preaches that the team that plays better defense will win Game 7 and Todd gives his feelings on the subject of defense as well. The guys also open up the phone lines to callers to hear the fans opinions on Game 7.

Comcast Sportsnet New England's A. Sherrod Blakely joins Mike Gill on the Sportsbash

A. Sherrod Blakely joins the Sportsbash to give the New England slant on the Sixers-Celtics Game 7 matchup and tells Mike about the pulse of the Celtics fan base. Blakely talks about the Celtics and if he thinks age is playing a factor in this long series with the Sixers and who he thinks needs to play their best game for the Celtics if they are to win Game 7 at home. Blakely also touched on whether he thinks the winner of this series can compete with Miami in the Eastern Conference Final.

Jayson Stark of ESPN.com joins Mike to talk Phillies baseball and the direction that the Phillies are going not only this season but in the future as well. Stark talks about the free agent-to be players on the Phillies roster that include Shane Victorino and of course Cole Hamels. Stark also weighs in on whether or not he believes the Phillies will be able to sign Cole Hamels to a long term contract and if in fact the Phillies will ink Hamels when it is all said and done. 

Daily News sports columnist Sam Donnellon joins Mike Gill on the Sportsbash

Sam Donnellon joins Mike on the Sportsbash to talk a little Flyers hockey and some of the potential moves that could have made the Flyers more successful. Donnellon discusses in hindsight the Jeff Carter and Mike Richards deals and whether or not the Flyers would be better with or without the two players. Donnellon also talks about the Philadelphia fan pulse and their feelings toward the former Flyers stars that were traded last off season.
