Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Monday June 18th, 2012.

NBA Finals Game 3

Mike Gill and Todd Ranck open up today's show with a recap of NBA Finals Game 3 last night.  LeBron James is at the top of his game right now and is showing the league, media, Mike Gill and more importantly Mike and Todd just why he was voted the M.V.P. of the league.  Todd is wondering if the moment is just too big for this young Thunder team.  LeBron James is now two wins away from becoming an NBA Champion.  Game 4 is Tuesday night in Miami and it's on 97.3 ESPN FM.

U.S. Open talk

Mike and Todd then did a little U.S. Open talk with Ranck calling it "awful."  It's just yet another golfer winning his 1st major PGA tournament with Tiger Woods nowhere in sight, falling off the final two rounds of the tournament.  A 42-year old Jim Furyk led most of the tournament before faltering in the end, which included a terrible tee shot from the 16th hole.  The third of four majors this year will be The Open Championship from Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in England July 19-22.

Who stays/goes

The Phillies were swept over the weekend in Toronto and have now lost 11 of their last 14 games.  Todd's prediction of 10-4 is still alive, but it took a major blow this weekend.  We took callers in this segment, many of which who want the Phillies to hold onto Carlos Ruiz, rather than Cole Hamels or Hunter Pence.  Todd Ranck wants Johnathan Papelbon to stay while Mike Gill wants Cole Hamels here long term.  Who stays, who goes?  Tweet us your response.

Gregg Murphy calls in

Member of the Phillies broadcast team Gregg Murphy  called in and talked about the Phillies rotten weekend.  He doesn't believe that Charlie Manuel's voice is falling on deaf ears: "It's more about guys not playing well and it makes for a more difficult clubhouse."  Murph said the message has been and will always be winning series, 2 out of 3, 3 out of 4.  Cliff Lee still doesn't have a win on June 18th of the season and Murphy thinks it's still a matter of manager Charlie Manuel still trying to figure out what he has available in the bullpen before closer Johnathan Papelbon.  The Phillies return home this week with a 3 game series vs. the Colorado Rockies beginning tomorrow night.

A Hamels trade that Mike would do

Mike Gill mentioned a trade that he would make for Cole Hamels: Carlos Gonzalez.  He loves his defensive mindset, speed, and youth in CarGo.  Mike called him his "baseball version of Kevin Durant," to which Todd Ranck and I cringed and had to excuse ourselves.  Would you make this trade?  As always tweet us your response.

Soccer talk

With the Euro Cup 2012 going on in that background, Mike and Todd begin to talk about the sport of soccer a little.  Mike seems to think that the soccer goalies may be some of the most athletic players in the sport, but don't have the opportunity to display that talent.  Gill called it a "waste of God given talent."
