Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Friday June 22nd, 2012.

LeBron and Miami win it all

The coronation was complete last night.  For the first time in his illustrious career, LeBron James won an NBA Championship.  With a triple-double to close out the young Thunder, James also took home the Finals MVP Trophy.  Mike Gill STILL thinks Kevin Durant will wind up with more rings than James.  Come on Man!

Eric Reid talks NBA Finals

Miami Heat television play-by-play broadcaster Eric Reid called in and gave us the reaction in Miami the day after winning the NBA Championship.  Reid said "you should gain through pain."  He took last year's Finals failure and was held himself accountable, as he said last night when he looked himself in the mirror.  Reid also said the Heat were a lot deeper than the critics gave them credit for.  Norris Cole, Mike Miller, Shane Battier all made great contributions in different games.

Shane Victorino is "over it..."

Shane Victorino had a few choice words for the Phillies media in the clubhouse last night.  Victorino said he'd love to score 10 runs a night, but its just not possible.  Charlie Manuel also wanted more production from his 8th and 9th hole hitters in this week's series.  Mike Gill says he just can't watch this team, saying "there's nothing interesting watching Ty Wigginton walking to the plate."  Cliff Lee still does not have a single win this season, he'll try for his first of the season tonight against Tampa Bay Rays.  Mike Gill also wants t-shirts made for Cliff Lee.

Todd Kalas previews Rays vs. Phillies

Television broadcaster for the Rays, Todd Kalas called in from the ballpark and previewed the final Interleague series of the season of the Phillies.  Kalas said he can't "fathom" how it's June 22nd and Cliff Lee still has not recorded a win yet.  Kalas is also the son of Phillies legendary broadcaster Harry Kalas and said on air that the Phillies "are my national league team."  This interview is a must-listen for the simple fact that Todd sounds so much like his father, Harry The K.  Kalas is entering his 14th season with the Rays.

LeBron and KD

Mike took a few calls on LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant and who will win more championships.  Gill says Durant will win more.  Durant is certainly in a better position at his age than James was at 23, as the pieces currently around him are much better than what LeBron James had. At any rate, Mike sees James as the best player, but the look he saw from Durant last night assured him that Durant will win more.
