Spurs vs. Thunder

The "Sportsbash" was LIVE from the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, NJ for the ShopRite LPGA Classic being held there this weekend. Mike Gill and Todd Ranck open up the show with their thoughts on Thunder/Spurs Game 2. Mike Gill says it was a great strategic coaching move on the part of Greg Popovich resting most of his starters in preparation for Saturdays Game 3. Todd Ranck now believes this series will go 7 games either way.

Drafting a starting 5

Mike Gill and Todd Ranck then decided to draft an NBA starting 5 of players from the 4 teams remaining in the NBA playoffs. Surprise surprise: Mike Gill DOES NOT have LeBron James even in his starting 5! Todd Ranck however, thankfully, has LeBron starting at his PF position with Kevin Durant as his SF. KG vs. Duncan

As with these sort of things, a debate will arise. For this segment, Mike and Todd got into a debate of which PF is the better fit for their team: Kevin Garnett vs. Tim Duncan. Both without question say that Tim Duncan is the best PF of all time, however Todd believes that Kevin Garnett is the better fit for his team.

Shoprite LPGA

We spent a few minutes with Tim Erensen, Executive Director of the Shoprite LPGA. The rain held off this afternoon and its shaping out to be a great weekend to watch the best 144 female golfers in the world go after the $1.5M purse. For more information on the tournament, visit the website.

As with every off season, Andre Iguodala gets his name thrown in the trade rumor mill from various ESPN and NBA insiders. Jason Babin running with the bulls?

Eagles DE Jason Babin called in and clarified what he actually meant when he said he wants to run with the bulls in Spain this summer. Said Babin: "I really didn't know how much of a ruckus I would create by saying this." He also said if the Eagles don't want him to do it, he wont do it. Tommy Hutton calls in

Miami Marlins color analyst and former Phillies 1B/OF Tommy Hutton called in LIVE from Citizens Bank Park and previewed the weekend series with Mike Gill. Hutton says the transition for Hanley Ramirez to 3B has been relatively fine and had some high praise for OF Giancarlo Stanton. Tommy Hutton played 12 years in MLB for four different teams. He has been the color analyst for the Marlins organization since 1997.
