Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Thursday May 3rd, 2012.

2:00 hour

Mike Gill opened up the show talking about how much turkey the corner market put on his sandwich.  He said you could put a whole jar of mayonnaise on the sandwich and it still wouldn't reach the turkey on there, yet he ate the whole thing.

Phillies late last night and early afternoon

Mike and Todd talked a little about the Phillies game last night and the get away game this afternoon.  They both were wondering as to why Phillies SP Roy Halladay left the team after last nights struggle. As today's game ended, they both were marveling at the complete game shutout thrown by Joe Blanton.  Mike read the stat of: Joe Blanton's 88 pitches are the fewest for a Phillies pitcher in a shutout since Mike Grace's 84 on Sept. 2, 1997.  Remember him?

3:00 hour

Mike and Todd open up the hour continuing their debate on the Sixers chances against the Bulls.  With the series now tied at 1, Mike Gill strongly believes that they have a chance to upset the # 1 seeded Bulls.  Todd has the Sixers chances at 10% beating the Bulls without Derrick Rose.  Todd says even if the Sixers are to win tomorrow night and go up 2-1 in the series, their chances only increase to 25%.

He also said that the Devils need to have Kovalchuk healthy if they realistically think they have a chance in this series.  Gulitti has covered the Devils for The Bergen Record since 2002, follow him on Twitter: @TGfireandice.

Lisa Hillary talks Flyers

Lisa Hillary, CSN Philly, called in and gave us a Flyers perspective on tonight.  She said in Game 2 the Flyers were out worked and out hustled for the first time these Stanley Cup Playoffs.  It didnt surprise her how much the Devils were able to open things up with players like Zach Parise and Kovalchuk.
