Report: Andy Reid to Chiefs Is Now Imminent

According to CBS Sports, Andy Reid will be coaching the Kansas City Chiefs next season.

"A deal between Chiefs and Andy Reid is NOW imminent," CBS Sports NFL reporter Jason La Canfora tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Reid was rumored and reported to be flying to Arizona and to his hometown of San Diego to interview with the Cardinals and Chargers respectively. Although, Andy Reid is no longer a candidate for the Cardinals coaching vacancy.

It has also been reported that Reid will only sign on with the Chiefs if former Eagles and Cleveland Browns GM Tom Heckert comes along for the ride.

The Chiefs went 2-14 this season and will have the first selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.

An announcement could happen later today.
