It seems that Brad Childress will not be coming with Doug Pederson back to Philadelphia after all.

According to a report, Childress is being promoted as Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator, replacing the departing Pederson.

There was some thought and speculation that Pederson wanted to bring Childress with him in some capacity, but that wont be happening, per Ian Rapoport.

Childress has served as a special consultant under Reid the last few seasons, specifically being labeled as a spread game analyst/special projects.

Childress was previously the offensive coordinator under Reid in Philadelphia before becoming the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings in 2006.

Frank Reich will reportedly become the Eagles offensive coordinator.
