The Philadelphia sports teams have been featured in prime time plenty recently. The Flyers played at Heinz Field for the Stadium Series game last season and will host the Penguins on Saturday night at Lincoln Financial Field in the same game. The Sixers have been featured on Christmas day each of the past two seasons and the Eagles have played on Thanksgiving and Christmas in recent years, and could be back playing on a holiday.

According to John Ourand of Sports Business Journal, speaking on the Sports Illustrated Media podcast, it looks likely that the Eagles could face the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving night this season.

"I didn't actually write about this but I have heard that Minnesota versus Philadelphia is one that's in play," Ourand said, via the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "It's not dead set, but I'm told that it's pretty likely."

The Eagles are 6-1 when playing on Thanksgiving, and the Vikings are 6-2.

The full NFL schedule will be released sometime in April.
