The Philadelphia Daily News reports new Eagles coach Doug Pederson "would like" ex-Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich as his offensive coordinator.

So what's the connection here?

Reich and Pederson played together in Carolina.

Reich, was recently fired by the Chargers after three seasons leading San Diego’s offense, but injuries this season crippled the Bolts season and Reich became the scapegoat. Reich, coordinated the NFL's No. 9 offense in total yards but San Diego was just No. 26 offense in points scored.

Another name to keep an eye on is Pat Shurmur, according to the report, Pederson isn’t averse to keeping Shurmur on staff, perhaps even in his same role.
