The Eagles and player personnel executive Rick Mueller are parting ways, sources told Jeff McLane of Philly.com.

Mueller was in his second stint with the Eagles, joining the team in 2012 as a player personnel executive, and was named director of pro personnel in 2014.  He was fired during the Chip Kelly era and brought back when it ended.

However, with Joe Douglas taking on a larger role, it seems Mueller became the odd man out.
