So maybe the Eagles and Sam Bradford will be a marriage for longer than anticipated.

Sources tell ESPN's Ed Werder the Eagles are discussing a short-term contract extension with Bradford.  A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Bradford planed to play out the final year of his deal coming off back-to-back ACL surgeries.

Per the report, Bradford has "made a strong early impression" on the team, while he didn't participate in full-team drills this spring, and has been fully cleared for 11-on-11 drills for the start of training camp.

Bradford shed his knee brace Sunday, another sign that he's back to 100 percent, he handled every first-team rep on the first day of training camp, while Sanchez practiced strictly with the second team.
