The Eagles signed a new running back today, signing former Cowboys back DeMarco Murray.

One questions is whether or not a lot of Murray's success could be attributed to the mammoth Cowboys offensive line.  The Eagles line is a much more athletic, smaller line then the Cowboys.

Two weeks ago the Eagles cut ties with right guard Todd Herremans, today NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Eagles are trying to trade left Evan Mathis.  Mathis is going on to be 34 this season, but makes a reasonable $5.5 million in 2014.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins have contacted the Eagles about Mathis.  The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Rams are also believed to be in the running for his services.

Some other teams that have interest in Mathis include, per CBS' Jason La Canfora are the Bills, Vikings and "possibly even Saints" are also "sniffing around" on one of the league's premier guards.
