According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport free agent Frank Gore is "reconsidering" signing with the Eagles.

ESPN's Adam Schefter can confirm that Gore has gotten "cold feet" on signing with the Eagles, and is drawing interest from the Colts.

This is a huge blow the the Eagles, who had given Gore a three-year deal, with the terms including $7.5 million guaranteed over the first two seasons.  Now the Eagles must turn their attention to names like Shane Vereen, Ryan Mathews, and C.J. Spiller, who are still available in free agency.

Gore was a great fit for Chip Kelly's spread offense, he averaged 5.0 yards per carry out of the shotgun last season with the 49ers. As CSN Philly Eagles insider Geoff Mosher told me today on the Sports Bash - he is a perfect fit for this offense.

"I love it, I actually advocated this move last week," Mosher said on the show.  "Here is a guy who is a perfect zone runner, great feet, never losses yardage, never dances behind the line of scrimmage, keeps the chains moving, he is perfect for what Chip Kelly's system is entailed to do."

Now the Eagles must continuing searching for a replacement for McCoy, who replaced by Gore for a day, who was traded last week.
