With the Eagles firing defensive line coach Jim Washburn, the dirty laundry is starting to be aired out.

In a report posted on CSNPhilly.com, Reuben Frank cites one unnamed player telling him that Washburn referred to fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo as "Juanita."

From Frank: "Washburn operated apart from Castillo, running his own little defensive line fiefdom and often either ignoring Castillo or derisively calling him “Juanita” in front of his players, the veteran defensive player said. He was condescending and confrontational and embarrassed Castillo frequently in meetings and at practice and also went over the line criticizing his players at times."

Today's move makes this the third "firing" on the defense this season with Castillo, defensive end Jason Babin and Washburn all being relieved of their duties.
