It's safe to assume that Mike D'Antoni is renting in Philadelphia.

Just 17 days after being hired as an associate head coach with the Philadelphia 76ers, D'Antoni has been linked to an upcoming head coaching vacancy.

According to a report, the Phoenix Suns would give D'Antoni a look if/when they were to fire current head coach Jeff Hornacek.

D'Antoni, 64, spent six years with the Suns under the leadership of Jerry Colangelo and led them to the Western Conference Finals two times with the high powered offense of Steve Nash and Amar'e Stoudemire.

D'Antoni was out of the NBA last season after stops with the Lakers and Knicks and could be using the Sixers as a stepping stone in eventually returning to a head coaching position.

The Suns are currently 12-25 on the season.
