The Phillies have been out to improve the consistency of their lineup this offseason.  One place where the Phillies might be out to improve is the outfield.  While the Phillies are said to be eyeing big targets such as Bryce Harper or Manny Machado, there are other free agents who could help the Phillies.  One of them might be outfielder Michael Brantley.

Brantley opened 2016 on the disabled list after having shoulder surgery.  Brantley aggravated his shoulder and was on the disabled list again by May. In June of 2017, Brantley was placed on the disabled list with a sprained ankle.    Brantley opened 2018 on the disabled list as well, but was activated April 6 and remained healthy the rest of the season.
