The Sixers landed Jimmy Butler on Saturday and have been rumored to be interested in Kyle Korver, but they definitely seem interested in adding more depth.

According to NBA writer Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, the Sixers might have their eye on some of the Washington role players like Jeff Green, Kelly Oubre and Markieff Morris.

The Wizards are off to a horrible 3-9 start, and might be more interested in what looks to be a very good draft class and could look to start unloading players.

None of those those three have been particularly good at shooting the three-point shot this season, combing to connect on just .297 of their three's.

Another veteran name to keep an eye on is Carmelo Anthony, whose time in Houston seems to be coming to an end.  ESPN's Tim McMahon is reporting that Houston players and coaches believe Anthony has played his last game as a Rocket.

Veteran NBA reporter Chris Sheridan, who spent time on the Sixers beat last season for NJ.com, is hearing the team could be interested in bringing Melo in after dealing away two starting players in the Butler deal.

"If I was Philadelphia and Carmelo Anthony was waived I would put a waiver claim in for him," said ESPN NBA insider Bobby Marks as a guest of the Sports Bash.  "If you can get a guy making the minimum that can give you 13 or 14 points off-the-bench and is playing 20-minutes, and I know there is a lot of defensive deficiencies, that's as good as any guy you're going to be able to get out there."
