The 76ers and Pelicans have reportedly engaged in advanced talks to send Jahlil Okafor to New Orleans, according to Sam Amick of the USA Today.

According to ESPN.com the Pelicans, have discussed sending center Alexis Ajinca and a future first-round pick to the Sixers, but details have not been finalized.

According to two people with knowledge of the situation, the Pelicans are in serious trade talks with the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire second-year big man Jahlil Okafor.The Sixers, who are known to have engaged with eight teams regarding Okafor, are pushing for the Pelicans’ first-round pick in the deal.

Another interesting twist to the potential deal, comes from Sam Amico, who says the Sixers could be interested in reuniting with their former all-star point guard Jrue Holiday.
