A fight broke out a Eagles practice today involving Riley Cooper and Cary Williams.

Both players involved have had their fair share of media coverage this summer for different reasons.

Normally a fight between two opposing teammates at a chippy practice is to be expected, but Cooper and Williams have a history after a video of Cooper using a racial slur surfaced at a Kenny Chesney concert in July.

"There's an elephant in the room that needs to be addressed. It’s an unfortunate situation for the team to go through this," Williams told reporters on August 2nd.

Cooper left the team for sensitivity training on the matter, but returned the team days later and controversy surrounding him all but took a back seat after preseason games began.

According to tweets by Eagles reporters, Williams and Cooper were lined up against one another and went to the ground. As the two got up to their feet, both players started pushing and shoving with punches being thrown. Mike Vick and Brandon Boykin can be seen calming the situation and breaking it up.

After practice Williams declined to talk to reporters.
